Over the years, there have been many opportunities that have come across my desk that have peaked my interest.  Everything from selling soap and toothpaste, to herbal remedies, to professional services, to travel opportunities and others.  There is one thing in all of these opportunities that I have noticed that is common.

I have even joined some of these companies and listened to their training and gone to their seminars and weekly hotel meetings or in home training/opportunity meetings.  I have traveled to other cities to attend weekend training events.  I have been in the homes of seven figure income earners

There is “one” MLM Success Secret that has raised its head in every one of those events and every one of those opportunities.  If you are reading this article now, you were probably interested in the title MLM Success Secrets.  You most likely have been to all or at least some of the events that I have just mentioned as well.

What was it that you were drawn to in each one of these opportunities?  Was it the product?  Was it the opportunity of residual income?  Was it the compensation plan?  Was it an obligation that you felt to a friend that had invited you?  Was it the carisma of the person that presented the opportunity?  What was it that got your attention?

If you can answer one or all of these questions, you have found the MLM Success Secret that might help you in the opportunity that you are presently investigating or maybe even the opportunity that you are involved in.

Now let’s move the whole scene we have just pictured to the internet.  You are obviously here because you have an interest in doing something on the internet.Perhaps you have seen an email that caught your attention to an opportunity and decided to look into it and are now doing some research on the subject.  Perhaps you noticed a banner add that you liked and you clicked on it to see what you could find out.  You were probably promised something in return for clicking on the add.

Perhaps you are currently involved in a network marketing (MLM) company and want to learn some MLM Success Secrets.  Whatever the reason for you being here, I would like to suggest to you that the reason you are now, or were previously, involved in an MLM business, is because someone along the way – in every case – presented themself as a leader that you could follow that would eventually help you get to the point of having success of your own.

#1.  The only way that you are going to have success in network marketing on or offline is to position yourself as a leader at some point in the journey.

#2.  If you cannot do that, you will not succeed and you just as well “get out while the gettin’ is good”.  That does not mean that if you don’t feel right now that you are a leader, that you won’t be successful.  Leaders can be trained and raised up to succeed.

#3.  You need to find a mentor that can teach you the ropes.  Network Marketing is a business.  I do not know of a business anywhere that you can just walk in to and be successful.  Most business leaders are trained or mentored  until they can take over and run the business themselves.  Mentors are a must for that very reason.

#4.  It will take hard work.  If you believe that network marketing is easy.  That you can just find one or two people and they will do all the work and you will collect all the money, you are gravely mistaken.  Network marketing is work.  To think otherwise is silly.

MLM Success Secrets are not really secrets, they are just good common sense.  If you are one that has good common sense and are willing to work, the rewards can be phenomenal.

Believe it or not, it is entirely possible for savvy individuals to earn their living through Craigslist. More and more individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit are realizing there are a host of opportunities for those who are willing to work hard to earn a living through hard work, learning about online communities such as Craigslist and effectively marketing themselves and their skills or products to those who might be in the market to invest in services or products the individual has to offer. They can use Craigslist in their effort to do this by placing advertisements for services offered as well as by responding to advertisements seeking contract employees.

There is a section on Craigslist specifically for services offered. Under the topic of services offered there are a number of different categories. The contractor can place a posting under the most appropriate category to reach their target audience. There is also a category for small business advertisements which may be used if there are no appropriate categories for the type of services offered. However, it might be more difficult to reach a target audience by placing an advertisement in such a general category.

Independent contractors can also gain business opportunities by responding to advertisements seeking contract employees. In searching for a job on Craigslist individuals can begin with a location and then browse through different types of job by category. The easiest way to find a contract position is to use the search feature and check the contract box to include this term as a part of the search criteria. This will ensure the search results returned include only contract positions.

Small business owners can utilize Craigslist to reach a larger audience and grow their business. Those who have a small business have a couple of opportunities to use Craigslist to their advantage. The most obvious way to promote a business on Craigslist is by posting an advertisement in the appropriate category under the for sale or services sections of the community. This can be very effective because Craigslist receives more than four billion page views per month meaning there is a large potential audience using Craigslist.

Small business owners can also use the discussion forums portion of the Craigslist community to generate greater profit for their business. However, small business owners should use a great deal of caution to ensure their promotional postings are not viewed as spam. There is a distinct difference between posting information related to your business in a way that is informative to the reader and spamming the boards with useless posts intended solely to promote your business. Spamming is not only likely to be overlooked by readers but also runs the risk that the Craigslist moderators will delete your posts or take more severe actions against you.

Ok so you have found a business service or product that interests you, next is to look at who is behind the product or service. Back when I first started to work from home, I joined several home business opportunities and did not do my research beforehand and came back to hurt me. Find the answers to some common questions like how bright does their future look? Financially solid and backed? Are they helpful, active, and have a desire and passion about their product or service? Do you feel as though they have good ethics? Are they willing to work with and support their home based business distributors? And something I have learned over the years through various home based business opportunities, is do they have a sense of excitement about their product or service or are they just trying to make money. If you can answer most of the questions above with a good feeling and positive vibe, and are attracted to their product or service, then you are on the right track for finding a good fit and work at home business opportunity!

Let’s get right to it, the first factor is the product and/or service that the program is offering or selling. This will more than likely be the most important factor of them all, because if it is not in demand, or the product or service does not offer incentive to sell or use, no one in their right mind will spend money to join you. And believe me when I say that there are thousands of home based business opportunities out there that have complete junk products and you will waste tons of money if you do not research before joining and spending. To elaborate, let’s say you have the greatest company and greatest product or service in the world, and is an all around great business opportunity, does that mean your guaranteed results and profits? No, of course not, you have to have a marketing system in place that allows you and all of your team members a chance to really hammer into the business and begin promoting and advertising your opportunity.

I have seen this so many times, so many good business opportunities out there, but no marketing system to follow it. This is highly overlooked and underrated and very well could be MORE important than the product or service you are promoting. I want to emphasize this point more than any other on my website that having a home based business system in place will ultimately determine how successful you will be. Having a successful system in place not only helps you, it helps the people you are signing up into your opportunity, it helps reduce the learning curve and time and effort you have to put into each individual who joins you.
